First Father's Day

Well today is Father's Day and Crawford and I spent time with Grandad this morning in Houston. I was in Houston this weekend for our first 3-Day training walk. Crawford did a great job "walking" the 6 miles! We flew home to spend some time with Daddy on Father's Day too. Now both Crawford and Daddy are napping...one of their favorite past times. Greer invited some friends over last night for some poker...Happy Father's Day Greer!

Crawford's big firsts this month - ate cereal, found his feet, visited Elberta, took a "swim" at Lake Elberta, invited Scarlett to Elberta for a sleepover, flew to Houston (first flight), met Benjamin, Jonathan & Debra.

He did pretty well on his first flight. I now have empathy for everyone on a plane with a baby. Talk about something beyond your control! You just pray that everything goes well. It is exhausting even if the baby is perfect.

He seems okay with cereal. While it isn't his favorite thing, he certainly doesn't turn down any food. Everything goes in his mouth. He drinks about 6.5 oz of milk/feeding. He weighs 15 lbs 6 oz and is just shy of 26" long.

Crawford seems to always be congested. We are working on that. Greer seems to think it is allergies. I certainly hope he doesn't have them as badly as Greer and I do. We will see.

Hope everyone is doing well. We are looking forward to a fun summer!

I didn't know you're doing the Walk! That's awesome! My aunt does the Avon walk in CA every summer -- so difficult, but so incrediable to be a part of! Good luck training! Hope Crawford proves to be an excellent training buddy!
